Welcome to my online shop! My name is Akın Tek and I have been playing with clay and creating ceramics since 1993. Over the years, I have honed my skills in creating standard dimension vessels such as teapot sets, coffee drippers, vases, plates, bowls, boxes, and more, mainly using the wheel-throwing technique.

But my passion for ceramics doesn't stop there. I also love to explore the art of mini ceramics using my self-made mini-throwing wheel. Despite their small size, these miniature creations are made with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship as their larger counterparts, making them just as real and functional.

My professional background may surprise you. For 20 years, I was a University instructor for critical reading and writing. However, my love for ceramics never faded. In fact, I continued to produce ceramics and even gave throwing wheel lessons in my spare time.

 

Now, I have decided to turn my passion into a business and share my creations with the world through this online shop. Each piece is carefully crafted with love and attention to detail, making them unique and special.
